Product description:
Silage film (silage baling film, hay wrapping film) is a high-barrier polyethylene plastic film specifically designed for silage preservation. It belongs to the category of agricultural functional film materials and is mainly used to wrap fresh hay, corn stalks, sugarcane tops, and other forage, isolating them from air and producing silage through anaerobic fermentation.
Differences from ordinary greenhouse films: silage film emphasizes high oxygen barrier properties, high tensile strength, strong adhesion, puncture resistance, and UV resistance. Light transmission is not prioritized; its core function is airtight sealing.

Advantages:
1. Superior oxygen barrier for excellent fermentation.
The silage film contains high-barrier additives, resulting in extremely low oxygen permeability. This quickly creates an anaerobic environment, allowing for normal lactic acid bacteria fermentation. The forage has a pleasant sweet and sour taste, and the retention rate of crude protein and vitamins is significantly improved, reducing nutrient loss.
2. Self-adhesive seal, airtight and watertight.
The film has inherent adhesive properties; after multiple layers are wrapped, the film adheres tightly to each other without gaps, achieving a waterproof and seepage-proof effect.
3. Puncture-resistant, tear-resistant, and highly resilient.
The silage film contains toughening agents, resulting in high tensile strength and tear resistance. It is less prone to damage during packaging and handling, and has a longer sealing life.
4. UV resistant, does not age during long-term outdoor storage.
The silage film contains UV anti-aging agents. The black side of the black silage film provides light-blocking and heat insulation, allowing for outdoor storage for 12-24 months without cracking.
5. Locks in moisture and nutrients, reducing farming costs.
The anaerobic environment locks in the moisture and nutrients of the forage, eliminating the need for additional hay drying and saving labor costs; the silage has high palatability, resulting in high feed intake for cattle and sheep, reducing the need for concentrated feed and lowering breeding costs.
